Lord of the Flies - Before You Read - Power Struggle

Whenever a group of people live together, there will be a struggle for power. For example, the parents might take advantage of their power. Let's say you werw to go to the mall with your friends, but your parents might not let you go even if you don't have anything to do at home. In addition, in families sibilings will fight and/or argue about things like games and which games to play. They may also fight over toys and which TV shows to watch. People tend to fight about who is more powerful than the other when living together.
